The Timber-Frame Diagnostic

DRAFT
Auf Deutsch
Drowning in information every day, yet never the right piece to hand? Days full of meetings? Knowledge walks out the door when colleagues leave the team? No one asks for your knowledge — and now AI is supposed to fix it?

This is not a communication problem that motivation, training, coaching, team-building or resilience workshops can solve. This problem is structural. In most organisations, the knowledge infrastructure was never deliberately designed.

Collaboration Architecture makes knowledge infrastructure visible — as a technical timber frame: digital tools that, combined into load-bearing structures, form our working environment. In this user-centred view, the tools are arranged by function. Culture and habits hold the whole together as cross-braces.

How the diagnostic works: Answer the questions about your work. Under each section you will find a free-text field for your own notes. What you write stays in your browser until you actively choose to export it.

When every question is answered, the „Gravity“ button appears. Switch on gravity — and you will see whether your structure holds under real operational pressure, or gives way.

If you like, you can export your result as a PDF, save it, and pass it on. The finding is not an endpoint. It is the starting point for designing working structures together.
